Hi there! I’m Megan Rae Stewart, a third-year Advertising & Beyond student at the Willem de Kooning Academy. I focus on creating visual driven work. It’s funny, actually – I’m very chatty, but I usually want my work to speak for itself. My work is both personal and socially engaged. When you see it, you'll get to know me not just as an artist but also as a vulnerable woman.


My surroundings are my biggest source of energy and inspiration. In the lively city of Rotterdam, where something is always happening, I constantly find moments that fuel my creativity. I’m passionate about addressing social injustices and contributing ideas for positive change. At the same time, I think it’s important to celebrate the beautiful aspects of our society, because there’s already so much around us that brings joy.
