How often I had a big smile on my face while photographing is countless. I enjoyed every moment—the interactions between people, the cool outfits they were wearing, the poses, the walks, the laughter, the shouting, the authenticity of the people. It gave me so much joy that I decided to make an Instagram profile for it, called @kruiskadeliefde. On this account I've tried to share as much as possible. 

So many times, I wanted to strike up a conversation with the people I photographed. They often inspired me, and I wondered about so many things.

"Where are you going?"
"What kind of work do you do?"
"What music do you listen to?"
"Did you all plan to wear the same outfit?"
"Who are you going to give those beautiful flowers to?"

But there I sat, on the third floor, a spot where few people could see me because I was behind the bars of my balcony. I couldn’t exactly shout my questions down to the street. So  I made stopmotion video’s and let my fantasy do it’s own thing.
